Progression opportunities are offered for the successful candidate upon completion of their apprenticeship and integration with the team.\nTraining to be provided:\nAs an IT Support Apprentice, you will be studying towards a level three ICT Support Technician apprenticeship. This apprenticeship is 22 months in length and will involve ongoing onsite training and mentoring from the Rocket Computer Services team combined with 25 days of off the job training at the PETA training centre in Cosham.\nAbout the role:\n\nWhat will my new role involve? Joining the team as an IT infrastructure apprentice, you will learn:\nInstall and maintain computer hardware, laptops, audio/visual equipment and peripherals\nRoutine administration including data backups and Active Directory maintenance\nSoftware installation, maintenance and upgrading in line with rocket development policy\nAdministration and development of Internet, Intranet, Extranet, and E-mail systems, including learning platforms and websites\nTo keep abreast of technological developments and encourage the use of ICT at all levels\nTo support staff and students with the set-up and preparation of ICT equipment around clients \nEssential skills:\nCould this be the ideal role for me?
