We have an incredibly close knit, supportive team who always put the best interest of our learners first.\nYour New Role\nJoining our team as our Lead Assessor, you will be responsible formanaging the team of Assessors to ensurethe quality of our Apprenticeshipdelivery in line with Ofsted, funding body, awarding bodyand PETA standards. Alongside yourmanagement responsibility,you will be supporting a cohort of apprentices working towards industry led engineering standards. You will alsobe responsible for:\nDay-to-day managementof your team of Assessors, their delivery andtheiradherence with stated regulatory guidelines and business KPI’s\nWorking in conjunction with theTraining Manager to undertake audits to ensure compliance and quality\nConducting initial assessment of employed learners to ensure they are eligible for anapprenticeship and funding is proportioned appropriately in line with ESFA Funding Guidelines\nOverseeing assignment tracking & marking, tutor allocation, moderation of outcomes, standardisation meetings, centre quality assurance visits\n\nCould this be the ideal role for me?\nAs our new Lead Assessor, you will need to be able to demonstratea proven track recordof assessing apprentices.. As you will be working with learners from 16 years plus, the ability to relate to and communicate well with a wide age range is crucial. Tobe considered for this role, you will also require:\nAssessors’qualification- desirable\nProven experience of leading a team\nLevel 2 Literacy and Numeracy\nMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficient\nStrong Organisational skills - must be able to plan and utilise time effectively\nAccurate report writing and record keeping skills\nAbility to work within a government funded, compliance-based environment\nFull driving licence and use of own car\nPlease Note: A DBS Registration and Disclosure is required.\nAbout Us\nWorking for PETA\nWe believe in empowering our staff to be the very best.
