Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with Product owners and other stakeholders to understand the requirements and design software solutions to meet the product requirements.
  • Develops applications focusing on the presentation layer using Application programming interfaces (APIs) and microservices architecture.
  • Develops unit and automation test scripts under the test-driven development lifecycle.
  • Contributes to the coding best practices and helps with code merges and releases.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Typically 5+ years of hands-on object-oriented programming in Java and/or Javascript (UI) (Angular or ReactJS) frameworks required.
  • Understanding of all phases of Software development life cycle.
  • Software Development Experience with JAVA.
  • Experience with modern UI frameworks like AngularJS or ReactJS.
  • Experience with microservice architecture, end-to-end UI/API integration, and knowledge of API protocols like REST, gRPC, and graphQL.
  • Familiar with coding and testing best practices as well as able to understand complex business problems and design high-quality technical solutions.
  • Knowledge about the Caching technologies and DBMS technologies like Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, and MongoDB.
  • Strong Problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
