Together, we support thousands of local animal welfare groups nationwide and have helped find homes for approximately 7 million animals through in-store adoption events.\nIntern, Accounting - Accounts Payable\nSummary:\nThis paid 12-week internship will provide hands-on professional experience in tasks currently performed by the existing team, such as journal entry and reconciliation preparation, vendor creation review, three-way match review, and other assigned projects.\nA Successful Intern Candidate Will Possess the Following Competencies:\nPlanning and Execution: Asks questions to clarify assignments and priorities. Involves others as appropriate when issues affect them. \nRequirements:\nThe Petco Accounting Internship Program is a 12-week opportunity. The intern will be expected to work within normal business hours, 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday. \nMust be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree program with a focus in Accounting and an anticipated graduation date between September 2026 and December 2026, or have recently obtained a Bachelor's Degree with a focus in Accounting. \nA GPA of 3.2 or higher is preferred. \nPetco Animal Supplies, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
