The role supports both workshop and field operations by performing and supervising equipment dismantling, inspection, measurement, assembly, testing, installation, and commissioning activities.\nThe Senior Technician is responsible for diagnosing equipment faults, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring all work is executed in accordance with OEM recommendations, quality standards, and HSE requirements. Working closely with engineers, supervisors, and customers, the Senior Technician provides technical guidance to junior personnel, supports troubleshooting and root cause analysis, and contributes to the successful delivery of safe, reliable, and high-quality service solutions.\nRoles & Responsibilities\nPerform and lead workshop and site maintenance activities for rotating equipment, primarily centrifugal pumps, including dismantling, inspection, measurement, assembly, testing, installation, and commissioning.\nPlan and prepare equipment, tools, materials, and spare parts to ensure the efficient execution of maintenance and repair activities.\nExecute the installation, removal, overhaul, and replacement of centrifugal pumps and associated rotating equipment at customer sites.\nPerform and verify shaft alignment activities using dial indicators and laser alignment systems in accordance with OEM specifications.\nDiagnose equipment faults, conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.\nMaintain accurate service reports, inspection records, job cards, and maintenance documentation.\nEnsure all work is carried out in compliance with company procedures, quality standards, OEM recommendations, and HSE requirements.\nEnsure the proper use, calibration, maintenance, and storage of tools, measuring instruments, and equipment.\nMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in both workshop and field locations.\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians and support their technical development.\nWork closely with engineers, supervisors, and customers to deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality maintenance and service solutions.\nQHSE Responsibilities\nEnsure all team members are aware of, trained in, and compliant with applicable QHSE standards, regulations, and company policies relevant to their work.\nLead by example in promoting a safety-first culture and actively participate in all QHSE meetings, cascading critical safety and environmental information to the team.\nTake prompt action to correct any unsafe or hazardous conditions and ensure that unresolved issues are escalated appropriately.\nReview and act on QHSE officer/coordinator observations and recommendations in a timely manner.\nEnsure all new team members complete their QHSE induction with the HSE Officer before beginning work.\nConduct regular reviews of emergency response readiness, including accessibility and usage of PPE and spill kits.\nMonitor team compliance with safety practices, especially among new or less experienced staff, and provide guidance and support where needed.\nEncourage active participation in QHSE programs and ensure that staff are given opportunities to contribute to safety improvements\nRefer OHSMS Manual, section 4.4.1 for additional HSE roles, responsibilities, accountability, and alignment and rotating equipment balancing principles.\nCompetent in the use of workshop tools, equipment, and safe maintenance practices.\nAbility to dismantle, clean, inspect, and reassemble rotating equipment in accordance with standard procedures and OEM guidelines.\nCapable of selecting and using appropriate tools, measuring instruments, and consumables for maintenance activities.\nAbility to perform equipment inspections, functional checks, and record test results accurately.\nSkilled in completing maintenance checklists, service reports, and job documentation.\nKnowledge of LOTO, permit-to-work systems, and general site safety requirements\nUnderstanding proper handling, protection, storage, and preservation of equipment components and spare parts.\nAbility to identify and report equipment defects, maintenance findings, and safety hazards to supervisors.\nStrong teamwork, communication, and willingness to learn from senior technicians and engineers.\nCommitted to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment in both workshop and field locations.\nExperience & Requirements\nMinimum 5-10 years of hands-on experience in the maintenance, repair, overhaul, testing, and troubleshooting of centrifugal pumps (API 610), including OH, BB, and Vertical Pump configurations, as well as other rotating equipment.\nProven experience leading workshop and field service activities, including equipment installation, commissioning, and shutdown maintenance projects.\nExtensive experience performing on-site maintenance and field service operations within the Middle East oil & gas, power, water, or industrial sectors.\nDemonstrated ability to supervise and mentor junior technicians while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and OEM standards.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose equipment failures and recommend effective corrective
