This role will be heavily focused on performing and managing a high volume of balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, supporting compliance requirements, and contributing to process improvements within a dynamic and growing environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while partnering with stakeholders across the business.\nKey Responsibilities\nFinancial Accounting & Reporting\nPrepare journal entries, perform a high volume of balance sheet account reconciliations, and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.\nAnalyze account activity, investigate variances, resolve discrepancies, and maintain supporting documentation for key accounts.\nAssist with financial reporting activities, audit support, and accounting documentation.\nOperational Accounting\nSupport accounting transactions, cash activities, accruals, and general ledger maintenance.\nOwn assigned account reconciliations from preparation through resolution, ensuring reconciling items are identified, researched, and cleared timely.\nAssist with documenting and improving accounting processes, controls, and procedures.\nCompliance & Audit Support\nAssist with regulatory reporting, audit requests, and compliance-related activities.\nPrepare account reconciliation support schedules and other documentation for internal and external auditors.\nEnsure accounting records are maintained accurately and in accordance with established policies and standards.\nQualifications\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n2+ years of accounting, finance, or related experience.\nStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts.\nExperience preparing and managing a significant volume of account reconciliations.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nPreferred:\nInsurance industry experience.\nExperience with financial reporting, audits, or regulatory compliance.\nExposure to GAAP and internal control environments.\nExperience working with ERP or accounting systems.\nWhat You'll Bring\nExceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.\nAbility to effectively manage a large portfolio of account reconciliations while meeting deadlines.\nCritical thinking and a proactive approach to problem solving.\nA collaborative mindset and strong business partnership skills.\nCuriosity and a continuous improvement mentality.\nWhy Join Us\nThis role offers the opportunity to gain broad exposure across accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and business operations while serving as a key contributor to the company's reconciliation and close processes.
