You own each deployment from kickoff to go-live: the plan, the timeline, the data and control migration, and the handoff to Customer Success.\nYou will work with audit directors, SOX program managers, IT, and security teams at the customer, plus our product, engineering, and support teams. The work sits where compliance rigor meets software rollout, so you need to speak both languages.\nWhat you'll do\nPlan and run deployments\nLead kickoff calls and build a deployment plan with milestones, owners, and dates for each customer.\n\nManage 5-10 concurrent implementations, tracking tasks, risks, and dependencies in a shared tracker.\n\nRun weekly status meetings and send clear recaps with decisions, action items, and next steps.\n\nEscalate blockers early to customer sponsors and internal leads, with a proposed path forward.\n\nConfigure for audit, risk, and SOX\nUnderstand the customer's risk and control matrix (RCM), processes, and control owners to help guide them in Petual’s platform.\n\nMigrate controls, test procedures, and evidence from spreadsheets, GRC tools, or legacy systems.\n\nAlign setup to the customer's audit calendar, quarter-end deadlines, and external auditor needs.\n\nConnect systems and data\nCoordinate SSO, user provisioning, and role-based access with customer IT.\n\nScope and track integrations.\n\nSupport customer security and vendor-risk reviews by routing questions to the right internal owner.\n\nImprove how we deploy\nTurn repeat issues into template plans, checklists, and knowledge base articles.\n\nShare customer feedback with Product, with clear examples and business impact.\n\nWhat you bring\n5+ years in SaaS implementation, professional services, or project coordination, or in internal audit, IT audit, or SOX compliance.\n\nWorking knowledge of Audit, SOX 404, ITGCs, and control testing, including RCMs, walkthroughs, and deficiency evaluation.\n\nFamiliarity with frameworks such as COSO, COBIT, or NIST.\n\nA record of running several projects at once and hitting dates.\n\nClear, confident communication with audiences ranging from control owners to CAEs and CFOs.\n\nComfort with data work: cleaning and mapping large control and evidence spreadsheets in Excel or Google Sheets.\n\nBasic grasp of SaaS concepts: SSO/SAML, user roles, APIs, and data imports.\n\nNice to have\nBig Four or public accounting audit experience.\n\nHands-on time with GRC or audit platforms such as AuditBoard, Workiva, ServiceNow IRM, or Archer.\n\nExperience deploying AI or automation tools for control testing or evidence review.\n\nExposure to SOC 1 / SOC 2 reporting or third-party risk programs.\n\nExperience with project tools such as Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, or
