As we expand our operations, we're seeking a motivated and experienced Leaders and Crew Members to join our team and drive our continued success.\nJob Summary:\nThe Shift Supervisor at Pagoda Asian Grill will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant during assigned shifts. This position will lead by example, providing exceptional customer service, and guiding the team members to deliver the same level of excellence. This position is an excellent opportunity to develop leadership skills and make a positive impact on our customers' dining experience.\nJob Responsibilities:\nGreet and assist customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.\n\nEnsure an exceptional customer experience by maintaining cleanliness, orderliness, and excellent service standards.\n\nHandle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback professionally and efficiently.\n\nSupervise and motivate team members during the shift.\n\nDelegate tasks and responsibilities to ensure smooth operations.\n\nProvide guidance, training, and feedback to team members to improve performance.\n\nOversee food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation, to meet Pagoda Asian Grill quality standards.\n\nMaintain a safe and clean work environment by following food safety and sanitation guidelines.\n\nMonitor and manage prep lists to minimize waste and ensure product availability.\n\nAssist in receiving and storing food and supply deliveries.\n\nAccurately handle cash transactions, including opening and closing registers.\n\nEnsure the accuracy of cash drawers and report any discrepancies.\n\nComplete shift reports, including sales and inventory data, as required by management.\n\nCommunicate any operational issues or concerns to the restaurant manager.\n\nJob Requirements:\nHave previous experience in a restaurant or fast-food environment preferred.\n\nMust be able to accurately and effectively communicate with other team members.\n\nRequires strong leadership and communication skills.\n\nHave ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.\n\nBasic math and cash handling skills.\n\nFood safety certification is a plus.\n\nOccasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) during the course of the workday.\n\nFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.\n\nWhy work for us?\nBecause it’s more than a job.
