Acts as company’s representative in dealings with customer on site. Prepares ready to work procedures with the service crew to include chemical loading, fluid testing, safety equipment, DOT requirements, customer work order and communicate any special instructions to other management or crew staff. Coordinates and supervises activities of transportation and material-moving equipment. Oversees all crew job activities from leaving home base to servicing at the job locations and return to home base. \n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nResponsible for all logistics including meeting with tank personnel and coordinating pre-job requirements.\nPerforms a full range of supervisory responsibilities including training, scheduling of work, grievances, performance counseling, and recommendations for promotions, demotions and termination of employment. Ensures that all relevant Human Resources and HSE policies and procedures are followed and adhered to.\nWorks with customers who have special request including tanks and wellheads. Communicates with them regarding the job before start, during and after service is completed.\nApply knowledge of industry to analyze and manage day to day operations to ensure efficient and effective services for the customer.\nEnsure crew members are meeting customer and company requirements.\nKnowledgeable of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and adheres to SOP’s.\nReviews the job parameters and specifics with appropriate personnel in the preplanning stages of the job.\nVerifies all dispatch information, load information, fluid, chemical, equipment are ready for service.\nInstructs crew members in job procedures, route to location, convoy procedures, rig-up assignments, job assignments, monitoring safety equipment, monitoring communication equipment, and reviewing any special conditions.\nConfirms DOT regulations are observed by all drivers.\nDirects and supervises the designated representative to begin the equipment spotting procedure.\nConducts a safety meeting with crew prior to start up, daily, and during job, if job changes occur after start up.\nReviews the finished project with crew when service is complete, and oversees cleanup to prepare for return to home base.\nPrepares reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency.\nInspects work performed to ensure that it meets specifications and established standards.\nInstructs work crew in work policies and procedures, and the use and maintenance of equipment.\nInvestigates complaints about service and equipment, and takes corrective action.\nOversees equipment maintenance to ensure that it is in working order. Confirms all equipment is operational.\nIdentifies and recognizes changes in circumstances, with attentiveness to security violations or an emergency situation.\nPerforms other related duties as required.\n\nEducational and Other Requirements:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent.\nTwo to four years work related skill, knowledge, experience or vocational training preferred.\nMust pass the required SSIT progression training course.\nGeneral knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.\nGeneral knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.\nGeneral knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.\nSensitive to confidential information.\nMust work independently and as a member of team.\n\nMental and Physical Requirements:\nAble to read, speak and write English.\nStrong physical and mental health to maintain demanding workload.\nAble to work under stressful conditions at times.\nClimbing - able to go up, down and over equipment in a safe manner using good judgment and proper safety equipment as is required.\nUsing hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.\nWear Common Protective or Safety Equipment such as but not all inclusive Safety Shoes, Glasses, Gloves, Hearing Protection, and Hard Hats.\nPosition will consistently dictate 40 hours per week with frequent extended hours as business needs dictate.\nPosition will require (24) twenty-four hours availability, with (7) seven day weeks when workload demands, with time off scheduled per current workload and other staff availability.\nWill require employee to be able to answer telephone calls (24) twenty-four hours as work conditions dictate.\nUsing relevant information and individual judgment to ensure whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations or standards.\nTrouble shoots problems on equipment and processes and selects the correct method to resolve issue.\nStrong work ethics of integrity and honesty strives for excellence in all activities employing accompanying communication.\nObserving, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.\nInspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.\nIdentifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.\nAnalyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.\nHandling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.\nDependable, reliable, fulfills responsibilities.\n\nThis job description should not be interpreted as an exhaustive list of responsibilities or as an employment agreement between the employer and employee.
