The incumbent will be responsible for receiving samples from global clinical/study trials according to approved protocols and processes. The individual will participate in all aspects of tracking and documenting the chain of custody of samples. The incumbent’s role will include sample receipt, documentation, storage, tracking, aliquoting, distribution to the testing labs, and sample disposal. The colleague will work in a team setting and will share roles and responsibilities as assigned by the team leader/manager.\nHow You Will Achieve It\nThe incumbent will be required to complete all processes as detailed in Sample Logistics' Standard Operating Procedures. \nThe colleague will perform job responsibilities in compliance with GXP and all other regulatory agency requirements. \nThe candidate will receive samples from clinical trial sites and enter samples into an electronic database management system. \nComplete clinical lab supply requests, which includes shipping forms, labels, and other lab supplies as needed.\nPerform sample storage and retrieval using manual freezers and BiOS (automated freezer storage system). \nAuthor Laboratory Manuals to support clinical trial site training and operations.\nPerform manual sample aliquoting and aliquoting using the Hamilton robotic instrument. \nShip samples and lab supplies to external and internal testing labs. \nAssist in the general maintenance of the Hamilton robotic instruments. \nParticipate in the shipment discrepancy resolution process. \nComplete documentation according to cGMP/GLP and all other regulatory agency requirements and archives documents as per applicable policies. \nCarry out sample disposal/sample destruction according to regulated policies and procedures \nPerform other duties as assigned. \nHere Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)\nBachelor of Science Degree or Bachelor of Arts Degree in a relevant scientific discipline \n0-3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry \nKnowledgeable with Microsoft applications including Word Processing, Excel, and PowerPoint - Ability to work in a team setting \nExperience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity.\nDemonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.\nBonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):\nPharmaceutical and biotech drug discovery experience\nStrong problem-solving skills\nExcellent communication skills\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nStrong organizational skills\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously\nExperience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot\nPHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS\nWork in a lab environment for the majority of the workday. \nWork with various types of bodily fluids.\nWork with live microorganisms (e.g., S. pneumoniae).\nAbility to lift racks/boxes up to 10 lbs.\nWork Location Assignment: On Premise\nThe annual base salary for this position ranges from $60,200.00 to $100,400.00.
