identify, evaluate, and drive new business opportunities including partnerships, licensing (in/out), acquisitions, and divestitures.\nLead end-to-end deal processes including evaluation, valuation, negotiation, due diligence, contracting, and post-deal alliance management.\nPartner closely with cross-functional teams to assess strategic fit, feasibility, and business rationale.\nMonitor industry trends, competitive activity, and market dynamics to inform BD strategy and opportunity creation.\nManage multiple BD projects concurrently with high autonomy in a fast-paced, lean organizational setting.\nRepresent Pfizer as a credible counterpart in external partner discussions and negotiations.\nSupport the BD Lead in shaping and executing Pfizer Japan’s BD strategy and long-term growth initiatives.\nHere Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)\nBachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related field.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in business development in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.\nProven track record of independently leading BD deals through successful closure.\nStrong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.\nExperience working cross-functionally.\nDeep understanding of the Japanese pharmaceutical industry and regulatory environment.\nSolid understanding of deal structures, contracts, and negotiations.\nFluency in both Japanese and English.\nHigh sense of confidentiality and ethics.\nBonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)\nMBA or advanced degree.\nExperience working in a global matrix organization.\nExperience in alliance management or post-deal integration.\nStrong project management and problem-solving capabilities.\nFlexibility, adaptability, and ability to manage
