Process Safety\nSupport the implementation and maintenance of Process Safety Management (PSM) systems.\nAssist in maintaining Process Safety Information (PSI) such as P&IDs, chemical hazard data, and equipment specifications.\nParticipate in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) activities (e.g., HAZOP) and revalidation exercises.\nSupport Management of Change (MOC) and Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) processes\nAssist in monitoring and tracking process safety performance indicators.\nWork with senior process safety engineer/process engineer to support safe introduction of new processes (NPI) and modifications.\nLearn and apply process safety standards and regulatory requirements (MOM, NEA, SCDF).\n2. Workplace Safety & Health\nSupport the Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) in ensuring compliance with Singapore WSH regulations.\nAssist in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and near-miss reporting.\nParticipate in site inspections, safety audits, and Gemba walks.\nSupport contractor safety management and Permit-to-Work (PTW) processes.\nContribute to safety campaigns and EHS committee activities.\n3. Environmental & Compliance Support\nAssist in monitoring environmental compliance requirements including waste management, air emissions, and effluent discharge.\nHelp coordinate disposal of hazardous waste with licensed vendors.\nSupport maintenance of environmental records, permits, and submissions.\nAssist with industrial hygiene programs (e.g., noise monitoring, exposure tracking).\n4. Emergency Preparedness & Safety Programs\nSupport emergency response planning, spill control readiness, and fire safety activities.\nParticipate in emergency drills and training exercises.\nAssist in maintaining EHS procedures and manuals.\n5. Documentation & Learning\nMaintain EHS and process safety documentation, including risk assessments, training records, and incident logs.\nParticipate in structured CCP training programs and on-the-job learning.\nSupport preparation of reports and presentations for internal and regulatory purposes.\nContinuously build knowledge in process safety, risk management, and EHS systems.\nHere Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)\nActive enrollment and completion of the first year in an accredited 4-year undergraduate program\nStrong organizational skills\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)\nBonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):\nStrong understanding of industry trends and best practices\nExperience with project management tools and methodologies\nFamiliarity with coding languages and software development processes\nBackground in data analysis and the ability to interpret complex information\nStrong communication skills\nAbility to adapt to changing priorities\nExperience in a healthcare or pharmaceutical environment\nExperience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity.
