Your dedication to maintaining these standards is essential in enabling Pfizer to provide life-saving treatments to patients around the world, fostering a safer and more effective healthcare environment.\nWhat You Will Achieve\nIn this role, you will:\nEnsure compliance with applicable EHS regulations, permits, licenses, company policies, and management system requirements. \nSupport the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of EHS programs, site compliance initiatives, and sustainability objectives.\nConduct workplace inspections, safety tours, compliance assessments, audits, risk assessments (RA), Job Safety Analyses (JSA), environmental impact evaluations, and Permit-to-Work (PTW) reviews to identify hazards and implement effective risk controls.\nSupport incident, near miss, hazardous observation, and environmental event investigations, including tracking corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to closure.\nManage EHS documentation, permits, licenses, training records, compliance registers, procedures, manuals, and emergency response plans to ensure regulatory and corporate compliance.\nSupport environmental programs including hazardous waste management, chemical management, spill prevention and response, emissions monitoring, resource conservation, and compliance reporting.\nCoordinate with licensed waste contractors, service providers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliant and safe execution of environmental and safety-related activities.\nSupport emergency preparedness and response activities, including drills, exercises, fire safety programs, spill response readiness, business continuity, and crisis management initiatives.\nAssist in EHS reviews of facility modifications, engineering projects, management of change (MOC), and site improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with environmental and safety requirements.\nMonitor EHS performance indicators, regulatory commitments, site objectives, and improvement projects, providing timely reporting and follow-up.\nPromote a proactive safety culture through employee engagement, training, communications, awareness campaigns, contractor management, and cross-functional collaboration.\nPerform other EHS-related duties and projects to support operational excellence and the site's license-to-operate objectives.\nHere Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements):\nBA/BS degree with any years of experience, or Associate's degree with 4+ years of experience, or high school diploma (or equivalent) with 6+ years of relevant experience\nExperience in Industrial Safety, especially in manufacturing facilities areas\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nGood knowledge of computer operation and MS Office Suite\nAbility to conduct Environment Health & Safety (local applications) trainings\nBonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):\nKnowledge of risk assessment processes and the ability to suggest suitable controls\nExperience in formulating cost-effective alternatives for corrective actions\nStrong problem-solving skills\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment\nExperience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity.
