Previous warehouse experience, forklift operation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is a plus but not required. The ability to work on both the Dry and Frozen side of the Warehouse which will include working in extreme temperatures is preferred. Load/unload trucks, store and pull product, equipment, and maintain accurate inventory within the Warehouse.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n Load/unload trailers, store and pull product, verify Lot codes/Serial Numbers before receiving product and equipment.\nMake notations of any damaged items on the Bill of Lading (BOL) before signing, dating, and returning to the driver. Notify the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator as well as the Quality & Purchasing department.\nRead customer purchase orders, palletize product on pallets and ship to the correct wholesaler.\n Sort and place product and/or equipment in racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.\nEnsure warehouse is accessible and safe for traffic.\nAssemble purchase orders from inventory stock and place the order on pallets and relocating orders to a staging area to be shipped to wholesaler.\nMark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.\nRecord amounts of products or equipment received or distributed by verifying quantities against BOL’s/SO’s/PO’s and Net Suite\nAssist with Weekly, Quarterly, and Year-End inventory Audits.\nWork closely with Logistics, Customer Success, Purchasing and Quality to manage and monitor inventory levels on both inbound and outbound product.\nOffer customer service (Walk-in Sales).\n Safely use equipment - properly load and unload trucks, forklift, and pallet jack operations, etc.\nEnsure forklift maintenance (proper charging, tire inflation, cleaning, etc.).\nPrepare new and used equipment for shipping.\nKeep track of warehouse supplies (pallets, wrap, cleaning supplies, etc.).\nAlways organize warehouse and work area for cleanliness. Work Area will be clean before leaving at the end of the day.\nComplete Safety Training and abide by all plant Safety policies.\nWork with a positive Safety attitude.\nCommunicate clearly, verbally and in writing, to Logistics team, support staff, and supervisors.\nMake accurate shift notes utilizing computer systems when appropriate and involve others who have interest in information.\nReceive and understand written and verbal instructions by following through and reacting to information communicated to you by others.\nTake initiative to seek new ways to do things by considering alternative approaches to common problems.\nWork with the team in the problem-solving process to collect appropriate data, analyze information, and reach consensus or recommended solutions.\nMaintain product food safety to meet and exceed the standards set by the company and its customers through Good Distribution Practices and company policies.\nComplete yearly HACCP, Allergen Management, Food Defense, and Food Fraud training.\nAdhere to the Safe Quality Food (SQF) code guidelines.\nPerform all other duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
