This role provides critical installation, integration, sustainment, troubleshooting, and field support to maintain mission-critical systems in a secure operational environment.\nThe ideal candidate has experience in technical support, field engineering, infrastructure deployment, or hardware break-fix operations. This individual will work directly with equipment, support customer issues, resolve technical incidents, and coordinate with engineering, systems, network, and logistics teams to ensure mission systems remain operational.\nThis is a highly hands-on, customer-facing position requiring strong technical troubleshooting skills, responsiveness, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a classified environment.\nCandidates must possess an active TS/SCI clearance and be able to work onsite five days per week in Chantilly, VA.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform hands-on installation, integration, deployment, cabling, hardware replacement, and physical support activities.\nTroubleshoot hardware and infrastructure issues, perform break-fix activities, and restore systems to operational status as quickly as possible.\nManage support tickets, service requests, and field incidents through resolution, ensuring timely responses and proper documentation.\nValidate equipment functionality following installations, repairs, hardware swaps, and other support activities.\nDocument troubleshooting steps, corrective actions, equipment changes, and support activities.\nCoordinate with systems engineering, network engineering, automation, and logistics teams to support deployments, sustainment, and operational readiness.\nAssist with deployment preparation, equipment staging, hardware handling, and installation activities.\nMaintain tools, spare parts, equipment, and other resources necessary to support field operations.\nFollow established site procedures, escalation paths, security requirements, and change management practices.\nProvide direct customer-facing technical support in operational environments.\nSupport mission readiness by identifying issues, communicating technical concerns, and escalating problems appropriately.\nPerform other related deployment, integration, and technical support duties as required.\nRequirements\nExperience in field engineering, integration support, deployment, hardware break-fix, infrastructure support, or a related technical role.\nStrong hands-on troubleshooting skills involving hardware, infrastructure, and technical systems.\nExperience supporting technical incidents, service requests, or ticket-based workflows.\nAbility to work onsite in a secure facility and perform physically active technical tasks.\nStrong communication, documentation, problem-solving, and team coordination skills.\nAbility to work directly with customers and technical teams in an operational environment.\nActive TS/SCI clearance and ability to maintain program access.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting data centers, technical labs, secure facilities, or mission-critical infrastructure.\nExperience with system imaging, equipment builds, rack-and-stack, hardware installation, and cable management.\nFamiliarity with hardware replacement, equipment validation, and infrastructure troubleshooting.\nExperience with spare parts management, asset tracking, equipment handling, and logistics coordination.\nExperience supporting government customers, federal contracts, or classified programs.\nExperience working in operational environments requiring shift coverage, after-hours support, or responsive incident resolution.\nAbility to coordinate effectively across engineering, operations, and field support teams.\nWork Environment & Program Context\nThis position serves as the hands-on execution layer closest to the equipment and the end user. The primary focus is deployment preparation, installation, integration, operational sustainment, and technical troubleshooting.\nThe successful candidate will work in a secure federal customer environment, supporting mission-critical systems through direct equipment interaction, field execution, and coordination with engineering and operations personnel.\nThis is an onsite position requiring consistent presence at the Chantilly, VA location, adherence to security protocols, and the ability to support operational requirements.\nBenefits\nOur comprehensive benefits package for full-time salaried employees is effective immediately upon the start date.
