Our team is committed to attracting and retaining top, diverse talent who share our vision of building a better, cleaner planet.\nJob Summary\nThe Reliability Maintenance Technician is a hands-on technical role responsible for supporting equipment reliability, maintenance execution, operational uptime, and continuous improvement initiatives at pH7 Technologies Plant 101 facility.\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of plant equipment and facility systems through hands-on maintenance execution, troubleshooting, root cause problem solving, preventive maintenance development, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nWorking closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Project teams, the Reliability Maintenance Technician will help maximize equipment uptime, improve asset performance, reduce unplanned downtime, and support the long-term development of the maintenance and reliability program.\nAs operations continue to grow, the successful candidate should be willing and capable of supporting future afternoon or alternate shift operations while providing technical leadership and maintenance support.\nWhat You’ll Do\nExecute corrective, preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance activities.\nTroubleshoot and repair mechanical process equipment and facility systems.\nComplete maintenance work orders, inspections, and documentation within MaintainX while maintaining accurate asset history and maintenance records.\nSupport development and continuous improvement of preventive maintenance programs.\nIdentify chronic equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.\nParticipate in root cause analysis, failure investigations, and corrective action implementation.\nSupport PM optimization and maintenance planning initiatives.\nSupport construction, installation, commissioning, and startup activities.\nCoordinate contractors and support project handovers.\nProvide technical mentorship and support collaboration between Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Project teams.\nWhat You’ll Need\nRed Seal Millwright, Industrial Mechanic, Heavy Duty Mechanic, or equivalent industrial maintenance experience.\nMinimum 5 years of industrial maintenance, construction, manufacturing, or process plant experience.\nExperience with pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, agitators, valves, piping systems, tanks, motors, and rotating equipment.\nAbility to read mechanical drawings, P&IDs, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.\nExperience leading field work and coordinating contractors.\nDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures in industrial processing environments.\nValid Class 5 Driver's License.\nHow You’ll Stand Out\nStrong troubleshooting, communication, and decision-making skills.\nDemonstrated commitment to proactive maintenance, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement.\nExperience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and maintaining accurate maintenance records.\nWorking Hours & Environment\nThis is a full-time role at pH7 Technologies’ facility in South Burnaby, reporting to the Construction & Maintenance Manager. Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000.
