The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages while providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming experience for customers.\n\n POSITION INFO:\n\n Key Responsibilities\nPrepare and serve a variety of coffee and hot and cold beverages according to company standards.\nOperate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other barista equipment.\nTake customer orders accurately and process payments where required.\nProvide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.\nConfidently engage and interact with customers in a warm and professional manner.\nMaintain a clean, hygienic, and organised coffee station and work area.\nEnsure coffee, milk, syrups, cups, and other supplies are adequately stocked.\nMonitor the quality, freshness, and presentation of beverages.\nAssist with food preparation and service when required.\nFollow all food safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures.\nHandle customer queries and resolve basic complaints professionally.\nAssist with opening and closing duties.\nMonitor stock levels and report shortages or damaged items to management.\nWork effectively as part of a team during busy periods.\nPerform any other reasonable duties as required by management.\nMinimum Requirements\nPrevious experience as a Barista or in a similar hospitality/customer service role.\nKnowledge of coffee preparation and basic coffee-making techniques.\nFluent in English, with strong verbal communication skills.\nConfident and comfortable engaging and interacting with customers.\nFriendly, outgoing, and customer-service orientated.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.\nGood attention to detail and presentation.\nAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays where required.\nBasic numeracy and literacy skills.\nAdvantageous\nBarista or hospitality-related training/certification.\nExperience operating an espresso machine and coffee grinder.\nKnowledge of different coffee types and preparation methods.\nPrevious experience in a restaurant, café, hotel, or similar hospitality environment.\nPersonal Attributes\nConfident and engaging personality.\nFluent and articulate in English.\nFriendly
