The Orders Coordinator works remotely and is responsible for submitting physician orders for signature; and making every effort to ensure physician signature is obtained in a timely manner. Submits notification of missed visits and discharge summaries to the physician/facility.\nOur comprehensive benefits include:\nMedical, dental and vision insurance\nTuition reimbursements and discounts\nPaid time off\n401(k) retirement plan\nFlexible Spending Account (FSA)\nEmployee discounts\nResponsibilities\nContacts physician offices by phone or fax to follow-up on outstanding orders \nMaintains a list of physicians who prefer to be contacted by the marketing staff; provides orders to the marketing staff to deliver to those physicians; and assists the marketing staff in maintaining a log of outstanding orders for his/her assigned physicians\nNotifies the appropriate manager when it’s identified that the wrong physician has been listed on an order; makes corrections in the computer once the correct physician’s name has been provided and resubmits the order to the correct physician\nPrints and submits Plan of Care Summary to patients in a timely manner\nSubmits notification of missed visits to the patient’s physician in a timely manner and payer source, when required by the payer\nSubmits discharge summaries to physicians in a timely manner\nAssists with answering the telephone in a timely and courteous manner, transferring callers to the appropriate department/person\nTakes messages as needed and delivers to the appropriate individual in a timely manner\nObserves confidentiality and safeguard all patient related information\nNotifies Supervisor of problems in a timely manner and works to help provide solutions\nCompletes ongoing education requirements and demonstrates ongoing competency in required areas\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nHigh school graduate or GED \nMinimum of six (6) months experience in an office setting, preferably medical office related\nMedical terminology, preferred\nProficient knowledge of the framework, organization, and function of home care\nProficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer) with the ability to learn industry specific software applications\nSolid organizational skills, thoroughness, and a keen attention to detail with the ability to multi-task while prioritizing effectively\nAbility to work independently and in a team environment\nExcellent, oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills\nProfessional appearance and demeanor\nAbout our Line of Business\nAdoration Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, provides quality and compassionate services in the comfort of home, providing support for patients, families, and caregivers in their time of need.
