Our dispensary runs on TELUS Health Kroll with prescription counting and confirmation robotics, which keeps our workflow efficient and accurate. Nurse practitioners see patients on site on Mondays and Thursdays. We are looking for a Pharmacy Assistant to support our pharmacists and help deliver friendly, reliable care to our patients. Occasional shifts at our sister store\nDuties and Responsibilities\nGreet patients and provide friendly service at the prescription counter\nEnter prescriptions and patient information in Kroll under the direction of a pharmacist\nSubmit and resolve third-party insurance claims\nAnswer phones, take refill requests and direct clinical questions to the pharmacist\nSupport the dispensing workflow, including the counting and confirmation robotics\nReceive, check and put away drug orders\nMaintain inventory, check expiry dates and manage returns\nProcess prescription pickups and payments\nPrepare prescriptions for delivery\nKeep the dispensary clean, organized and compliant with ACP standards\nProtect patient privacy in line with the Health Information Act\nExperience, Skills and Qualifications\nPharmacy assistant certificate or diploma is an asset\nStrong customer service and communication skills\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy\nComfortable with computers and fast data entry\nAble to keep patient information confidential\nReliable, organized and a strong team player\nKroll experience is an asset\nRequired Experience\nPharmacy, retail or customer service experience
