We are committed to continuing to develop a positive, open and honest working environment for all.\nThe Senior QA Engineer plays a key role in ensuring quality across Pharmacy2U’s technology platforms, working within Agile engineering squads to deliver reliable, high-impact systems for internal users and customers. With ownership of complex and high-risk product areas, the role operates with autonomy and influences quality standards beyond a single team. Depending on where impact is greatest, the position may sit within a product squad or operate within a cross-team enablement function, helping raise the quality bar across multiple squads.\nOur tech teams keep us running 24/7 to make sure all our patients get world class service. approach, coverage, and tooling.\nWrites, maintains, and reviews automation independently and to a high standard.\nContributes to test coverage across UI, API, and integration layers, applying tests at the appropriate level.\nLeads manual and exploratory testing on complex or high-risk features where automation is not suitable or where capacity requires support.\nInvestigates issues across services, environments, and teams when failures occur in unfamiliar or complex ways.\nShapes acceptance criteria during refinement and identifies risks before development begins.\nCoaches QA Engineers and Associates through technical pairing, code reviews, and constructive feedback.\nContributes to shared standards, templates, and ways of working, influencing how quality is delivered across engineering.\nReviews pull requests for testability and quality of coverage, not just the presence of tests.\nBrings informed perspectives on emerging testing approaches and applies them with sound judgement.\nWho are we looking for?\nConfident decision making on test coverage, tooling, and approach for complex initiatives.\nKeeps up to date with emerging testing practices and demonstrates a commitment to continuous learning.\nCommunicates clearly through defect reporting, test strategies, stakeholder updates, and risk discussions.\nUnderstands the impact of quality on patients and prioritises user outcomes.\nExperienced in delivering quality across complex web and mobile products.\nProficient in Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks, with the ability to design and build automated tests.\nCollaborates effectively with engineers through code reviews and paired testing activities.\nTakes an automation-first approach, applying automation where it provides the greatest value.\nSupports and develops less experienced QA colleagues through coaching and knowledge sharing.\nDemonstrates working knowledge of TypeScript or JavaScript and is comfortable working
