This is a remote role, and is an excellent opportunity to develop your administrative and customer service skills while supporting a top home health provider in the region!\nOur comprehensive benefits include:\n* Competitive pay\n* Paid time off\n* 401K with company match!\n* Career advancement opportunities\nResponsibilities\nAnswer telephones and provide excellent customer service to our professional staff and insurance representatives\nRun and utilize computer reports regularly\nObserve confidentiality and safeguard all patient related information\nProvide accurate, complete updates to Agency management on status of Insurance Eligibility for all patients\nEnsures that Insurance Eligibility is obtained and documented for all patients\nIs responsible for seeing that objectives are implemented, follows, and promotes agency policies and procedures\nEnsure that all eligibility responses are documented clearly\nParticipate in the orientation and education of other employees as relates to Eligibility department\nObserves confidentiality and safeguard all patient related information\nNotifies Supervisor of problems in a timely manner and works to help provide solutions\nCompletes ongoing education requirements and demonstrates ongoing competency in required areas\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nHigh school graduate or GED \nMinimum of one (1) year of experience in health care billing and/or authorization practices\nGeneral knowledge of the framework, organization, and function of home care\nSound knowledge of health care operations and third-party reimbursement\nProficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer) with the ability to learn industry specific software applications\nSolid organizational skills, thoroughness, and a keen attention to detail with the ability to multi-task while prioritizing effectively\nAbility to work independently and in a team environment\nExcellent, oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills\nProfessional appearance and demeanor\nAbout our Line of Business\nAdoration Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, provides quality and compassionate services in the comfort of home, providing support for patients, families, and caregivers in their time of need.
