Compound sterile preparations, including those from non-sterile powders, within a Class 100 cleanroom environment.\nPrepare and fill prescriptions for long-term care residents and Alere high-risk pregnancy patients, following established policies and quality standards.\nSupport quality assurance (QA) processes, ensuring compliance with all compounding and documentation requirements.\nAssist pharmacists with data entry, refill coordination, and communication with nursing homes and Alere clients.\nStage, prepare, and fill medication orders accurately and efficiently.\nMaintain and clean infusion pumps and other sterile compounding equipment, ensuring proper calibration and safety.\nReplenish and maintain Emergency Drug Kits (EDK) for long-term care facilities.\nPerform shipping and tracking of Alere packages via third-party overnight logistics providers.\nSupport inventory management, filing, answering phones, and stocking areas within the IV department.\nCollaborate with the Lead IV Technician and Pharmacy Supervisor to maintain a safe, compliant, and organized work environment.\nPromptly report any operational or compliance concerns related to USP 797 standards.\nPerform additional duties as assigned by the Pharmacist, IV Supervisor, or Director of Pharmacy.\nQualifications\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent. \nPharmacy Technician license as required by state\n6 months - 1 year of IV Pharmacy Technician experience\nKnowledge of medical terminology. \nAbility to operate a computer; recognize and identify medications. \nDetail oriented; goal oriented, team player, and effective oral communication. \nDesired:\nLong Term Care pharmacy experience. \n*Position will be posted for a minimum of 7 business day \nAbout our Line of Business\nOnePoint Patient Care, an affiliate of PharMerica, is the nation’s leading independent provider of community-based hospice pharmacy and pharmacy benefits management (PBM) services - offering hospices nationwide flexible and adaptable solutions for their hospice pharmacy needs.
