In this role, you will collaborate with engineers and technical professionals to develop high-quality drawings and design packages that support utility, substation, transmission, infrastructure, and industrial projects.\nWhat you'll do:\nAs a Civil Engineering Drafter, you will play a key role in transforming engineering concepts into clear, accurate, and construction-ready drawings. Working closely with civil, structural, geotechnical, and electrical teams, you will contribute to projects from initial design through construction.\nResponsibilities include:\nPrepare detailed civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD and related drafting software.\nDevelop site plans, grading plans, profiles, sections, foundation details, and construction drawings.\nProduce drawings for utility infrastructure, substations, access roads, drainage systems, foundations, and site developments.\nIncorporate engineering markups, survey information, field data, and design revisions into drawing packages.\nCoordinate designs with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure consistency and accuracy.\nSupport the preparation of Issued for Construction (IFC) and other project deliverables.\nReview drawings for compliance with project standards, quality requirements, and client expectations.\nMaintain drawing templates, standards, layers, blocks, and revision histories.\nUpdate existing drawings based on field conditions, engineering changes, and project requirements.\nAssist with quantity take-offs, schedules, and supporting documentation as required.\nParticipate in quality reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.\nIf you're passionate about producing high-quality technical drawings and want to contribute to challenging and rewarding engineering projects, we'd love to hear from you.\nPlease submit your resume and, if available, a portfolio or examples of relevant drafting work.\nPhasor Engineering is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where all employees are respected, supported, and provided equal opportunity to succeed. years of drafting experience in a civil engineering, consulting, or construction environment.\nStrong proficiency with AutoCAD.\nExperience preparing construction and engineering drawing packages.\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, survey data, and design markups.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.\nExcellent organizational and communication skills.\nAbility to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.\nAssets\nExperience with Civil 3D.\nExperience supporting utility, substation, transmission, power, or infrastructure projects.\nKnowledge of Canadian engineering standards and drafting practices.\nFamiliarity with grading, drainage, foundations, and utility corridor design.\nTechnical Skills\nExperience with some or all of the following is considered an asset:\nAutoCAD\nCivil 3D\nMicrosoft Office Suite\nPDF markup and drawing review tools\nSite grading and drainage plans\nUtility and infrastructure drawings\nFoundation and structural drafting\nConstruction documentation\nSurvey and field data integration\nDrawing revisions and
