If you are an excellent communicator and skilled problem-solver with strong attention to detail, we offer a dynamic work environment where you will be continuously challenged in all aspects of the testing and commissioning process.\nThis is a field-based, shift position requiring extended periods of travel and work away from home.\nThe Opportunity\nIn this role, you will lead the testing and commissioning of MV/HV systems, protection & control schemes, and critical electrical infrastructure from construction through energization.\nIf you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, leading technical teams, and collaborating with experienced commissioning professionals, this role offers meaningful technical work and long-term growth.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead a team in the testing and commissioning of power system protection & control schemes in the utility, power generation, and oil & gas industry.\nRead and interpret drawings and troubleshoot / resolve technical issues.\nManage direct reports and delegate tasks as needed.\nReport preparation and submission.\nAssist with generation of commissioning startup procedures or work instructions.\nEnsure compliance with all safety practices as per corporate, client, and industry standards.\nInitiate and/or respond to customer inquiries, discuss trouble details and confirm resolutions.\nRequirements\nWhat We're Looking For\nBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology Diploma, or Power Systems Electrician Journeyman certification\n4+ years of commissioning leadership experience within utility or MV/HV environments\nHands-on relay testing and commissioning experience\nExperience working with substations, protection & control systems, and utility infrastructure\nExperience with Omicron testing equipment is considered a strong asset\nStrong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving abilities\nExcellent communication and leadership skills\nAbility to work extended rotations and travel to project sites as required\nEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of applicable background checks, identity verification, and drug and alcohol testing, where required by company policy and applicable law.\nWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to a diverse workforce.
