Built on technical excellence, collaboration, and a commitment to safety and quality, we take on complex challenges together. #HighVoltage\nThe Opportunity\nWe're looking for an experienced High Voltage Field Commissioning Lead to join our team.\nIn this role, you will lead the testing and commissioning of MV/HV systems, protection & control schemes, and critical electrical infrastructure from construction through energization.\nIf you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, leading crews in the field, and working alongside industry experts, this role offers meaningful technical work and long-term growth.\nThis is a field-based position with travel to project sites across Canada on a 14/7 rotation.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead field testing and commissioning activities for MV/HV systems and protection & control schemes\nSupport utility, industrial, and energy infrastructure projects across North America\nRead and interpret drawings, schematics, and technical documentation\nTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues during commissioning and startup\nSupport outage, energization, and commissioning activities\nMentor and support junior team members and field crews\nAssist with commissioning procedures, startup documentation, and reporting\nCoordinate with clients, project teams, and technical stakeholders\nEnsure compliance with corporate, client, and industry safety standards\nRequirements\nWhat We’re Looking For\nBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology Diploma, or Power Systems Electrician Journeyman certification\n4+ years of commissioning leadership experience within utility or MV/HV environments\nHands-on relay testing and commissioning experience\nExperience working with substations, protection & control systems, and utility infrastructure\nExperience with Omicron testing equipment is considered a strong asset\nStrong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving abilities\nExcellent communication and leadership skills\nAbility to work extended rotations and travel to project sites as required\nCandidates must be legally authorized to work for any employer in Canada.
