Built on technical excellence, collaboration, and a commitment to safety and quality, we take on complex challenges together.\nThe Opportunity\nWe're looking for a Commissioning Engineer / Technologist to join our team.\nIn this role, you will test and commission MV/HV power systems, protection & control schemes, and critical electrical infrastructure from construction through energization.\nIf you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, working with advanced testing equipment, and collaborating with experienced commissioning professionals, this role offers meaningful technical work and continuous professional growth.\nThis is a field-based position with travel to project sites across Canada on a 14/7 rotation.\n What You'll Do\nTest and commission power system protection & control schemes in the utility, power generation, and oil & gas industry\nRead and interpret drawings and troubleshoot / resolve technical issues\nReport preparation and submission\nAssist with generation of commissioning startup procedures or work instructions\nEnsure compliance with all safety practices as per corporate, client, and industry standards\nInitiate and/or respond to customer inquiries, discuss trouble details and confirm resolutions\nWhat We're Looking For\nBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Electrician Journeyman Ticket, or an Electrical Engineering Technologist Diploma from a recognized institute\n4+ years’ experience in MV and HV Commissioning\nAbility to work extended rotations and travel to project sites as required\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications\nProven analytical, risk assessment, and problem-solving abilities\nValid driver's license with clean driving record.\nBackground checks and Drug and Alcohol Pre-Access Testing will be required as part of employment.\nCandidates must be legally authorized to work for any employer in Canada.
