Few have the product leadership to turn that investment into measurable outcomes. phData is changing that, and we need a Director to lead the way.\nCore Responsibilities\nDelivery & Engagement Leadership\nOwn the design, delivery, quality, scope, and financial performance of AI and data product engagements across a portfolio of client accounts, serving as engagement leader on key programs.\nTranslate complex client requirements into scalable product strategies \nDefine and enforce specification quality, backlog standards, and adoption KPIs across all team engagements to drive root-cause fixes.\nBuild trusted relationships with executive client sponsors (CDO, CTO, CAO, VP of Product) and shape multi-phase roadmaps from MVC to scale.\nTeam Leadership & Portfolio Management\nPlan staffing and capacity across the practice; balance utilization, growth, and delivery commitments at scale.\nOwn the recruiting pipeline to identify, attract, and hire high-caliber talent that meets and/or exceeds the standard for delivery excellence.\nGo-to-Market & Commercial Ownership\nOwn GTM strategy, pipeline targets, and revenue outcomes for product management\nLead pre-sales engagements, including discovery sessions, executive workshops, SOW scoping, and storytelling that connects product management to measurable business outcomes.\nAccountable for the development of phData's Product Management standards, delivery frameworks, and reusable assets.\nDefine AI productivity standards and evaluation models across the team; ensure AI fluency translates to measurable business value\nRequired Qualifications\n10+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a consulting, professional services, or advisory environment.\nProven track record leading and managing product managers with accountability for team utilization, performance, and client satisfaction.\nExperience owning a portfolio of client accounts with direct responsibility for delivery quality, scope, and financial performance.\nDemonstrated success building and scaling data or AI products from MVP to production.\nDeep understanding of the modern data and AI stack (Snowflake, cloud platforms, BI tools, agentic AI frameworks) and the ability to guide strategic product decisions at that level.\nProficient in product operating models; backlog management, specification quality, KPI frameworks, Business Acceptance criteria, and Value Realization Plans.\nExperience designing AI-assisted product workflows and embedding AI productivity tools into team delivery; ability to evaluate and enforce AI adoption standards across a portfolio.\nDemonstrated pre-sales track record; SOW development, executive proposals, and closing consulting engagements.\nStrong executive communication and storytelling skills; able to translate product complexity into business impact for CDO, CTO, and board-level audiences.\nExperience proactively identifying delivery risks, escalating effectively, and driving root-cause accountability across multi-engagement portfolios.\nExperience at a top-tier data, AI, or management consulting firm preferred.\nPrior experience working in global or remote teams and partnering across the U.S., LATAM, and/or India.\nWillingness and ability to travel up to 50% (10 of 20 days per month).\nSuccess Measures for this Role\nRevenue & Growth\nProduct bookings and revenue\nProduct pipeline growth\nNet revenue retention \nDelivery & Quality\nCustomer satisfaction, extensions, and expansions\nReduction in delivery escalations\nTeam & Practice\nTeam utilization, growth, and performance calibration outcomes.\nQuality and reuse of product standards, delivery frameworks, and reusable assets.\nMeasurable productivity gains from AI-assisted workflows across the team.\nphData celebrates diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
