Phenomenon holds a 5.0 rating on Clutch, and most clients come back for a second project.\nWe’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who treats a brief as a hypothesis rather than a specification.\nAdvantages of the role\n\nYou own complex projects end to end. You don’t just do one part of someone else’s plan — you find the problem, decide what to do, and take responsibility for the result\n\nYou’ll talk directly with the client to understand their needs and expectations, then present your solutions and stand behind them\n\nWe submit product work to awards that judge the thinking, not the surface — Red Dot, UX Design Awards\n\nA design community of 30+ designers who give honest feedback, share second opinions, and help you think through decisions — people who’ve been in your shoes\n\nYou’ll have a personal mentor to support you. Down the line, you’ll get to be that person for someone else\nRequirements\n\n5+ years of commercial product design experience, a substantial part of it in an agency or outsourcing setup\n\nAbility to take a project from 0 to 1 as the only designer on it\n\nExperience across both web and mobile products (iOS, Android)\n\nStrong visual craft — work that carries a brand and holds up in use, not just structurally sound layouts\n\nExperience optimising user journeys against metrics: engagement, conversion, retention\n\nExperience with UX research and behaviour analysis tools (Hotjar, Amplitude, Google Analytics, etc.)\n\nProficiency in Figma (tokens, components, variables, auto-layout)\n\nProficiency in modern AI tools for building live demo prototypes and products — Claude Code, Cursor, and similar — and using AI in your workflow without losing quality\n\nStrong spoken English (B2+ level). You’ll run calls, present and defend solutions, and handle client disagreements directly, alongside the PM.\n\nA case showing measurable impact on product metrics — required, either in your cover letter or already in your portfolio\nWhat the role actually asks of you\n\nIdentifying the real problem, even when it’s not what the client originally asked for — and being able to explain its importance.\n\nAdapting the process to the project instead of running the framework to the end\n\nIdentifying the outcome your work should produce, and how anyone would know you met it\n\nDeciding without complete information — judging business, tech, and budget factors yourself, and acting on it\n\nExplaining the reasoning behind your solutions to the client, not just presenting layouts\nThis role is probably not a fit if\n\nYour answer to “why is it built this way?” is “that’s what the client / PM / Lead asked for”\n\nYou need a detailed PRD or spec before you can start working\n\nYou pass decisions upward instead of bringing a recommendation and the reasoning behind it\n\nYour case studies show only deliverables — flows, wireframes, a design system, not your reasoning, decisions,
