What is needed for this job:
Either a CDA credential OR an Associates Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education from an accredited institution of higher education.
2 years (2500 hours) verified childcare experience and all NJ educational requirements
The responsibilities we will trust you with:
Assist in planning and implementing dynamic curricula to ensure fun, child-centered, and age-appropriate lessons are offered.
Cultivate a sensitive, patient childcare environment for both children and families.
Maintain a healthy environment through light cleaning and supporting personal care routines of the children.
Supervise each child in your care by being able to identify, SEE, HEAR, DIRECT and ASSIST, always ensuring a safe environment.
Uphold all YMCA, State, and Quality Rating Systems policies and guidelines for overall commitment to quality in childcare.
