Acting as a thought leader and trusted advisor, you will help engineering teams understand, adopt, and effectively apply AI technologies within their daily engineering work.\nWorking closely with systems engineers, RAMS engineers, architects, software teams, and AI specialists, you will bridge the gap between engineering challenges and emerging AI capabilities. You will contribute to the evolution of engineering methodologies, tools, and best practices that enable the next generation of AI-enabled Systems Engineering and RAMS Engineering at Philips.\nYour role:\nDrive the adoption of AI within Systems Engineering and RAMS practices across Philips.\n\nIdentify, develop, and scale AI use cases for requirements engineering, system architecture, modelling, verification, validation, traceability, and engineering knowledge management.\n\nIdentify, develop, and scale AI use cases for RAMS engineering like FMEA, data analysis, HALT/ALT, Modelling Simulation & Analysis, for Hardware and Software\n\nSupport engineering teams in evaluating and implementing AI-enabled engineering workflows, methods, and tools.\n\nCoach and educate Systems Engineers, RAMS Engineers, Architects, and technical leaders on the opportunities, limitations, and best practices of applying AI within engineering environments.\n\nDevelop methodologies, standards, guidance, and reusable frameworks that enable the effective use of AI in Systems Engineering and RAMS Engineering.\n\nLead pilot projects and proof-of-concepts that demonstrate measurable engineering and business value.\n\nCollaborate with engineering, software, data science, and AI experts to translate emerging AI capabilities into practical solutions.\n\nContribute to Philips-wide strategy and roadmap development for AI-enabled Systems Engineering, RAMS, and Digitalization of Innovation.\n\nFoster a community of practice focused on innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.\n\nStay at the forefront of developments in AI, RAMS, Digital Engineering, and Systems Engineering, translating external innovations into practical applications for Philips.\n\nYou're the right fit if:\nYou have extensive experience in Systems Engineering, Systems Architecture, RAMS, or Digital Engineering within complex product development environments.\n\nYou have demonstrated experience driving engineering innovation, methodology development, or engineering transformation initiatives.\n\nYou have strong knowledge of Systems Engineering and RAMS principles and understand how these are applied in large-scale product development organizations.\n\nYou possess a solid understanding of AI technologies such as Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, Machine Learning, Knowledge Graphs, or related technologies.\n\nYou can translate emerging AI capabilities into practical solutions that create measurable value for engineering teams.\n\nYou enjoy coaching, educating, and influencing technical stakeholders across multiple disciplines and organizational levels.\n\nYou are comfortable working in a cross-functional global environment that brings together engineering, software, data science, quality, and innovation teams.\n\nYou hold a Master's degree or PhD in Systems Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.\n\nYou are curious, innovative, and energized by exploring new technologies and ways of working.\n\nYou combine strategic thinking with a hands-on mindset and enjoy turning concepts into practical, scalable solutions.\n\nYou are passionate about helping Philips advance the state of the art in Systems Engineering and RAMS Engineering through the responsible application of Artificial Intelligence.\n\nCompensation & benefits\nDoing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is € 93,049 - € 155,081. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations.\nThis role is eligible for 6% annual bonus with your rewards linked to KPIs and the company’s performance.
