Job Title

Business Development Manager

Job Description

Help shape where and how DUNLEE (Philips Brand) grows. As Strategic Business Development Manager, you will turn customer, market and technology insights into compelling business cases and actionable growth initiatives across the global medical imaging market. You will work in an international, entrepreneurial environment where your ideas and decisions have visible business impact.

Your role

  • Identify, assess and prioritize growth opportunities across new markets, geographies, customer programs, partnerships and technologies.
  • Conduct market and competitor assessments, quantify commercial opportunities and translate incomplete information into clear strategic recommendations.
  • Build robust business cases, value propositions, market-entry plans and investment proposals that support informed go/no-go decisions.
  • Shape customer-facing opportunities by coordinating commercial and technical input and creating a clear path from initial concept to execution.
  • Develop strategic growth initiatives in close collaboration with Product Management, Marketing, R&D, Engineering, Finance, Sales, Quality, Regulatory and Operations.
  • Connect stakeholders across functions and geographies, create alignment and influence decisions without relying on formal authority.
  • Contribute to portfolio decisions by translating external market evidence into recommendations on where to invest, partner, build, scale or exit.
  • Represent DUNLEE in discussions with OEM customers, partners and other industry stakeholders.
  • You will join an international team working across the Netherlands, Germany, the United States, India and China. DUNLEE combines the agility and customer focus of a specialized imaging-components business with the reach and expertise of Philips.

You're the right fit if

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Engineering or a comparable discipline, combined with at least three years of relevant experience in business development, strategy, product management, partnerships or another commercially focused role.
  • You have demonstrated experience identifying growth opportunities, conducting market analysis and developing business cases, financial models or commercialization plans.
  • You are a self-starter who can structure ambiguous opportunities, establish priorities and independently bring the right technical, commercial and senior stakeholders together.
  • You communicate confidently in English and are comfortable working with customers and colleagues across functions, cultures and geographies.
  • Experience in medical technology, health technology, diagnostic imaging, capital equipment, advanced manufacturing or a complex B2B/OEM environment is an advantage. We also welcome candidates from other regulated or technical industries who can demonstrate strong strategic thinking, commercial judgment and an affinity with technology.

How we work together

This role can be done from The Netherlands (office in Best) Or in Germany (office in Hamburg). We are not open for people that are currently residing in other countries, as we don't support relocation for this role.

Compensation & benefits

Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role in The Netherland are €61.185 - €101.976. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations. This role is eligible for 3% bonus, with your rewards linked to KPIs/company results. We’ll share the full approach with you during the interview process, so you can make a clear, informed decision.
