Job Summary
This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Key Account Manager - Projects of Professional Project and Trade Team in Budapest, Hungary. You will manage strategic relationships with key accounts to maximize opportunities in the lighting projects business to drive profitable growth and customer satisfaction, lead the design and implementation of lighting solutions that meet customer requirements while promoting Signify’s connected (IoT) and sustainable innovations.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Manage assigned key accounts (project partners, specifiers, installers and end-users) across the customer ecosystem, being accountable for all projects within the account, including direct responsibility for medium and large lighting projects.
- Build and nurture strong, multi-level relationships with key accounts and stakeholders (architects, designer, specifiers, general contractors, investors) to influence product selection and secure specifications and to create pull for Signify’s innovations.
- Cooperate within Signify cross-functional teams (e.g. Product Marketing, LiAS, Sales Specialists, Order Desk, Proposal Management, Customer Satisfaction etc.) with the objective of meeting account performance objectives and customer’s expectations.
- Deliver sales targets, revenue growth, and profitability objectives within the assigned territory, segment.
- Display a great passion for learning new technologies and create demand for the same by continuously enhancing your knowledge of Signify’s solutions, connected systems, and market developments through active participation in learning programs and sales capability initiatives offered by Signify.
Critical Experiences
- Minimum 5 years of experience in key account management or sales within the lighting or related project technical ecosystem of specifiers, architects, installers, general contractors and end-users.
- Demonstrated success in navigating in complex ecosystem environment, stakeholder management skills, business development skills and attitude combined with execution power (close the deal).
- Technical background with interest in new technologies, while lighting technology knowledge (additional product knowledge) is advantage.
- Interpersonal skills of team player for collaboration with cross-functional teams - but also ready to work independently, self-driven.
- Hungarian and English is must.
