You will collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to develop reliable, high-performance software from concept through product release.\nWhat you’ll do\nDesign, develop, test, document, and maintain embedded software applications, subsystems, and components aligned with system requirements, project goals, and industry standards.\nCreate optimized, high-performance software solutions for resource-constrained platforms and support their successful integration into connected products and systems.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, global technical communities, and research organizations to incorporate customer needs, market insights, and emerging technologies into engineering solutions.\nProduce technical specifications, development reports, design documentation, and other project deliverables while supporting intellectual property creation and protection.\nContribute to technology roadmaps and provide technical coaching and mentoring to strengthen the team’s embedded software knowledge and capabilities.\nMore about you\nWhile we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on embedded systems.\n10 or more years of embedded software development experience, including strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python.\nStrong knowledge of embedded development concepts and experience developing software for resource-constrained platforms.\nExperience working with IoT, smart home, connected systems, or similar technologies preferred.\n Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical work, collaborate across functions, and coach or mentor other engineers.\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.\nSalary & Benefits\nSalary: $122,570 $163,420 (based on experience level)\nBonus: target bonus opportunity 15%\nBenefits Overview: Company subsidized benefits plan offerings that include Medical, Health Savings Account, Dental, 401K retirement plan with company match, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), Paid Time Off, including paid vacation, holidays/personal days, tuition reimbursement and products discounts.
