Balance workload to ensure timely launches within cross-functional team framework.\nPackaging execution:\nDeveloped structural packaging concepts appropriate for each project based on Philips Platform and Marketing inputs.\nEnsure packaging concepts are optimized for manufacturing, assembly, quality and cost requirements.\nOversee packaging design process, ensuring designs meet Philips requirements for customer attractiveness, structural quality and sustainability.\nCreate specifications for packaging designs including pulp trays, folding cartons, corrugated boxes and pallet layouts.\nCoordinate packaging quality testing per international shipping standards.\nDetermines logistics parameters for new packaging structures (e.g. weights, dims, material content)\nAs needed, work with external suppliers to develop packaging structures that meet project requirements.\nProvide inputs to other functions for maintaining packaging sustainability and substance compliance\nConduct and document packaging design reviews per project milestones.\nOthers:\nCoordinate prototype tool builds and product tests.\nCreate documents, specifications, Bill of Materials (BoM) in the PDM system\nCoordinate prototype builds and test requests\nProvide support to cross functional team with PDM system responsibilities\nMinimum required Education:\nBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering OR Vocational Education in Information Technology or equivalent.\nMinimum required Experience:\nBachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of experience with Vocational Education in areas such as System Architecture, System Design, Hardware Engineering or equivalent.\nHow we work together\nWe believe that we are better together than apart.
