Experience with 3D modeling software such as Autodesk Inventor or similar is beneficial.\nAbility to solve complex structural problems by creating models or analyses to predict static/dynamic loads and stresses using hand calculations, numerical methods, and FEA to guide design decisions. Relevant experience includes use of ANSYS, Matlab, Mathcad, Python or similar programming tools.\nDefine and execute engineering mitigation activities, including requirements management, FMEA, test planning, prototype test development, data acquisition, analysis, and technical documentation. Hands on experience with test hardware, software and material fabrication methods is valuable.\nSupport prototype development and product industrialization by working with suppliers and manufacturing on component fabrication, supplier qualification, design implementation, and resolution of manufacturing challenges. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is required.\nProvide mechanical engineering expertise across the product lifecycle, collaborating with Systems Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Service, and other disciplines to resolve technical and field issues and deliver robust designs.
