The role ensures successful delivery of projects in terms of scope, timeline, quality, cost, compliance, and resource allocation while collaborating with global stakeholders across R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Operations, Clinical, Marketing, and Service organizations.\nThis position requires strong project management expertise, the ability to navigate complex cross-functional environments, and excellent communication skills to drive alignment across global teams.\nYour role:\nLead post-market sustaining (LCM) projects and sub-projects for complex medical devices in accordance with agreed project scope, timelines, quality objectives, budget, and resource plans.\n\nDevelop and maintain project charters, objectives, and execution plans in close partnership with System Project Managers and key stakeholders.\n\nManage end-to-end project execution, including planning, resource allocation, schedule management, issue resolution, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.\n\nCoordinate cross-functional and cross-regional teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved.\n\nEstablish effective governance and communication mechanisms, including project reviews, steering committees, and stakeholder updates.\n\nDrive decision-making processes, assign and track actions, and proactively manage project dependencies.\n\nIdentify project risks, assess severity and likelihood, implement mitigation plans, and escalate critical issues when necessary.\n\nManage project budgets and monitor project expenditures throughout the project lifecycle.\n\nSupport product quality planning, sustaining engineering activities, product enhancements, obsolescence management, and regulatory compliance initiatives.\n\nEnsure project execution follows Philips development processes, quality requirements, and applicable medical device regulations.\n\nFacilitate collaboration among global stakeholders and resolve conflicts related to priorities, resources, and project objectives.\n\nProvide regular project status reporting to leadership and key stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation actions.\n\nLead small to medium-sized project teams while influencing broader matrix organizations without direct authority.\n\nYou're the right fit if:\nExperience & Qualifications\nBachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.\n\nMinimum 10 years of experience in project management, product development, sustaining engineering, or lifecycle management, preferably within the medical device industry.\n\nProven experience managing complex medical device projects involving hardware, software, systems engineering, manufacturing, and quality functions.\n\nSolid understanding of product development and post-market sustaining processes throughout the product lifecycle.\n\nDemonstrated experience leading cross-functional and multinational project teams in a matrix organization.\n\nStrong knowledge of risk management, project controls, and stakeholder management methodologies.\n\nFamiliarity with medical device quality systems and regulatory standards such as ISO 13485, FDA QSR, MDR, or equivalent is highly preferred.\n\nPMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent project management certification is a plus.\n\nTechnical & Professional Skills\nStrong project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting capabilities.\n\nExcellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause investigation abilities.\n\nSkilled in project management and collaboration tools, including Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and related software.\n\nFluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively lead global discussions and presentations.\n\nComfortable working in complex, multicultural, and geographically dispersed project environments.\n\nKey Competencies\nStrategic and Systems Thinking\n\nCross-functional Leadership\n\nStakeholder Management\n\nExcellent Communication and Presentation Skills\n\nRisk and Issue Management\n\nResults Orientation\n\nInfluencing Without Authority\n\nCollaboration and Relationship Building\n\nChange Management\n\nStructured Problem Solving\n\nLearning Agility\n\nCustomer and Quality Focus\n\nHow we work together\nWe believe that we are better together than apart.
