The right candidate will have a unique opportunity to create innovative designs.\nWork with global experts at Best Netherland and Suzhou China on MRI product development for multi platforms.\nundefined\nDrive the development activities on MRI major components such as MRI RF receive coils and Patient table. Provide innovative solutions for better user experience and workflow.\nYou are responsible for\nLead the end-to-end mechanical design of MRI RF receive coils and Patient Table including concept design, industrial design solution evaluation, design transfer and post-market maintenance.\nLead technical feasibility assessments and design discussions with cross-functional team members during the concept stage and provide technical design solutions.\nOwn the detailed design delivery for mechanical components, design specifications, BOM, DFMEA, design review, verification & validation, etc. during PDLM execution.\nLead trouble shooting and root cause analysis on issues from customer or production line, as well as design verification and product validation, ensure deliverables have no risk in quality, safety and reliability.\nPartner with technical leadership to ensure that the technical deliverables are consistent with the goals of programs, projects, or initiatives.\nYou are a part of\nA progressive and energetic team that contributes directly to the growth of the business. You have a direct reporting line to the Director, Patient Environment Team.\nTo succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience\nBachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related field equivalent.\n8 or more years of mechanical engineering experience.\nExpert-level proficiency in 3D CAD software and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).\nUndefined Strong mechanical design expertise and demonstrated ability to solve complex engineering problems.\nDemonstrated experience in product architecture definition, product concept development, industrial design solution evaluation, and bill of materials (BOM) creation.\nProficiency in the design of plastic and sheet metal parts, as well as related tooling and manufacturing processes.\nKnowledge of design for reliability, manufacturing, assembly, cost etc. is required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, Power Point, and Word is required. Knowledge of Product Development Process, DFMEA and Risk management is required. \nGood English communication skills (both verbal and written) required. Experience with medical device industry engineering and knowledge of medical device quality management systems is preferred.\nExperience working with global R&D and engineering organizations is preferred.Knowledge of FEA simulation is preferred. Knowledge of Usability and Workflow is preferred.
