As a member of an international cross-functional team, you work closely together with electrical engineers, transducer engineers, software engineers, system engineers, and ultrasound engineers.\nYour role:\nBeing a key contributor to the development of medical capital equipment. Architect, design, and develop embedded software for intravascular ultrasound systems.\nInterfacing with multi-disciplinary teams consisting of marketing, hardware, software, catheter design, and manufacturing to refine design requirements for next generation intravascular ultrasound devices.\nCreate software requirement specifications, software architecture documents, and detailed software design documents.\nDesign and debug firmware for embedded processors, microcontrollers, digital signal processors, and other electronic components using C/C++. Generating and releasing design documentation per production development procedures.\nLeading, generating and conducting formal verification and validation plans for completed designs in collaboration with Quality and Regulatory.\nConducting technical design reviews with the project team(s) and independent subject matter experts across the company.\nYou're the right fit if:\nYou have 5 + years' experience in software/firmware development preferably in the field of medical electronics. Industry experience creating detailed design documentation (specifications, design descriptions, verification and testing plans).\nYou have earned a BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.\nYou must have experience with C/C++ (design and coding) for embedded applications. FreeRTOS experience will be preferred.\nYou would benefit from having familiarity with cardiac and vascular catheterization procedures, tools, and terminology desired.
