In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans to ensure the quality, function, and performance of software products meet the required standards.\nYour role:\nDesign, develop, and maintain product-based test automation frameworks to support functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing activities.\nDevelop, review, document, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, test procedures, and automated test scripts based on software requirements and design specifications.\nExecute and support embedded software, system, integration, functional, regression, and verification testing activities throughout the product lifecycle.\nCollaborate effectively with software developers, system engineers, and cross-functional teams in a Scrum/Agile environment to ensure high-quality product releases.\nAnalyse test results, track defects, provide test status reports, and drive continuous quality improvements.\nApply risk-based testing methodologies to ensure comprehensive verification and validation of safety-critical software.\nValidate end-to-end workflows, including software updates, cloud/backend services, communication interfaces, and device interactions.\nParticipate in requirements reviews, design discussions, and testability analysis to improve product quality early in the development cycle.\nLeverage mocking frameworks and simulation techniques to validate software components and interfaces in embedded environments.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong experience in Test Automation, C# or Python scripting, and automation framework development.\nHands-on experience with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) and/or TDD (Test-Driven Development) methodologies.\nExperience with mocking frameworks and test simulation technologies for embedded systems testing.\n Knowledge of Automation Architecture and development of enterprise-scale automated test solutions.\nStrong understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles and design patterns.\nProficiency in HP ALM, Azure DevOps, Jira, or other Test Management and Defect Tracking tools.\nExperience with test reporting, metrics, traceability, and requirements management.\nYou're the right fit if:\nBachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.\n4 to 7 years of experience in Embedded Software Testing, preferably in the Healthcare/Medical Device domain.\nExperience working in a regulated environment (FDA 21 CFR Part 820, IEC 62304, ISO 13485, or similar). Exposure to medical device software verification and validation activities. Experience with healthcare applications, connected devices, or embedded medical systems.\nStrong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), with hands-on involvement across requirements, design reviews, test planning, execution, defect management, and release activities.\nPreferred Skills\nISTQB Foundation Level or Advanced Level Certification preferred.\nHow we work together\nWe believe that we are better together than apart.
