We are committed to craftsmanship, creativity, and delivering exceptional experiences at every touchpoint.\nIf you’re inspired by thoughtful design, meaningful relationships, and being part of a team that’s shaping extraordinary interiors, we invite you to apply for a Pre-Press Operator.In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring digital files are formatted and optimized for production with the highest standards of quality at our Fairfield, NJ location with the working shift Monday - Friday 4am-12pm OR 11:30am-7:30pm\nWhat You Will Be Doing:\nPartner closely with the Marketing, Product Development, and Pure Imagination teams to prepare, update, and maintain brochure and marketing collateral files.\nColor correct imagery and make layout adjustments to ensure brand consistency, visual accuracy, and high-quality output.\nCreate, revise, and format brochure artwork using approved templates, specifications, and production standards.\nPrepare final print-ready files, ensuring all artwork, images, typography, and technical requirements meet established quality standards.\nReview files prior to production, verifying artwork accuracy, color settings, file integrity, and print readiness.\nFollow daily production schedules and priorities, managing multiple projects while meeting established deadlines.\nConduct quality checks on printed materials to ensure color consistency and alignment with approved master samples.\nMaintain and update digital master files, ensuring proper organization, version control, and adherence to established naming conventions.\nOrganize production assets, strike-offs, proofs, and print files for easy retrieval and reference.\nCollaborate with internal teams to implement artwork revisions, product launches, and marketing updates accurately and efficiently.\nAssist with print production testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives as needed.\nStay informed of specification, branding, and production updates to ensure all materials remain current and accurate.\nProvide creative input on visual presentation, layout enhancements, and process improvements when appropriate.\nWhat You Bring to the Table:\nProficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign with strong skills in color correction and image manipulation.\n2+ years of experience with EFI XF RIP software\nExperience working with print templates and preparing files for production.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.\nExcellent communication and time management skills.\nThe Phillip Jeffries Experience\nAt Phillip Jeffries, we believe exceptional work deserves exceptional care.
