These include daily food deliveries between operations, catering deliveries, dorm deliveries, picking up of equipment/supplies in dorms and support in Lamont Health deliveries.\nJob Responsibilities\nProper maintenance and storage of food items and equipment in delivery vehicles.\nKeep all equipment, vehicles, hand trucks, dollies clean and in working order.\nResponsible for basic maintenance of vehicle/s, ensuring gas, oil and tire pressure. Report any problems to direct supervisor.\nMaintaining proper storage and return of items to correct storage areas.\nAdhering to established protocols, policies, driving zones and speed of vehicle.\nAdherence to Dining Services and Academy policies and procedures.\nAdhering to Serve Safe best practices in securing the transportation of food and supplies.\nAssist in maintaining complete and accurate inventories of all items\nObserve all policies including MSDS, safety and sanitation.\nKeep informed of all material safety data.\nPerform custodial, dishwashing, production and delivery driver duties as assigned\nKnowledge, Skills and Competencies\nRespect for diversity of identities and experiences, an orientation toward equity and inclusion, and cultural competency in all aspects of Academy life.\nAbility to work independently, manage one’s time to complete daily responsibilities and tasks.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nExperience and/or basic understanding of using computers to access e-mail notifications.\nStrong organizational skills in managing inventories and documentation related to job requirements.\nDirect/Indirect Reports\nNone.\nPosition Requirements\nEducation\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred.\nSome college experience helpful.\nServSafe certification is required.
