JOB PURPOSE
Support product approval of aftermarket steering & suspension productWork in collaboration with product line, purchase, supplier quality and external suppliers to plan and execute product development and validation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Accountabilities
- Collate and record product attributes within the PADB (Product Attribute Data Base) and CCU (Carsource Catalogue Utility) for all new to range part introductions. Collate & update product data in NPI (New Product Introduction) workflow.
- Collate, record and maintain Bill Of Materials within the CCU (Carsource Catalogue Utility) for all new to range part introductions and MCIP related activities.
- Complete RFC (Request for Product Classification) across all new to range part introductions, support technical questions related to product specification for RFC completion.
- Maintain engineering documents in designated repository’s - drawings, design validation reports, product images.
- Support product engineering group with updates and revisions of engineering processes and procedures within the quality management system.
Key Competencies
- BS in Engineering.
- Knowledge and experience of automotive aftermarket is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills English.
- Must be detail oriented with excellent organization and time management skills with ability to work independently.
- Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- SharePoint document library administration knowledge.
- Ability to routinely work in a hands-on environment.
