Read More\nJOB PURPOSE\nSupport the Gillingham Site and Finance team in management reporting and analysis. To deliver accurate and timely reporting through the maintenance of books and records This role is a key member of the finance team, supporting monthly, quarterly, and year end Finance processes, coupled with management reporting required both Internally and Externally at all levels of the business.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nTo take responsibility for accurate financial reporting and production of management accounts to strict deadlines; to liaise with external and internal auditors to ensure robust processes; input into the budget/forecast process and ensure the site is Sarbanes Oxley compliant.\nKey accountabilities include:\nProduce accurate profit and loss and balance sheets to tight deadlines, initially responsible for, but not restricted to, the Plant/Operations side of the business.\nAnnual Budget preparation\nMonthly forecast process\nDaily reporting & Target tracking\nResponsible for site revenue accounting and analysis\nManage cashflow forecasting and reporting to tight deadlines\nProduce headcount and payroll reports\nHelp maintain all ledgers\nLiaise with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit completion\nEnsure all work is completed in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) guidelines\nControl Company bank accounts\nControl expenditure versus budget\nVAT and Tax reporting as required\nCreate and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)\nAction improvements to reporting processes, ensuring dependable and reliable processes are installed and adhered to\nHelp Mentor and develop the Finance team\nAssist in the completion of quarterly & annual stocktakes\nManufacturing KPI’s and Over and Under absorption techniques\nComputation Excess and Obsolete inventory provision\nAlongside the Quality team monitor Warranty returns and claims, identifying any financial risks to the business\nComplete analysis, journal preparation and entry of monthly reports\nResponsible for annual Standard Costing process\nFactory Margin reporting within the plant\nSupports their respective teams to ensure quality objectives are met.\nAny other duties as may be required in order to ensure the efficient operation of the Company.\nEQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY\nPHINIA is an equal employment opportunity employer such that all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.\nVISA SPONSORSHIP\nFor this role, applicants must be currently authorized to work on a full-time basis in the country where the position is based.
