Read More\nJOB PURPOSE\nThe Pricing Analyst plays a critical role in driving profitable growth across the United States, Canada and Mexico by providing pricing analytics, market intelligence, pricing governance, and pricing execution. This position partners closely with Sales, Category Management, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT to develop pricing recommendations, support pricing strategy development, execute approved pricing actions, and ensure pricing accuracy across PriceFx and SAP S/4HANA. Through analysis of market conditions, customer behavior, competitive activity, and business performance, the Pricing Analyst helps optimize pricing decisions, improve margins, and support long-term business growth across North America.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nKey Responsibilities\nPricing Analytics & Strategy\nAnalyze sales, margin, cost, market, competitive, and customer data to identify pricing opportunities, risks, and business trends.\nAnalyze customer, product, and channel profitability to identify opportunities for margin improvement and portfolio optimization.\nConduct pricing simulations, scenario modeling, elasticity analyses, and profitability assessments to support business decisions.\nIdentify pricing leakage, discount inconsistencies, pricing anomalies, and opportunities for revenue and margin optimization.\nBenchmark company pricing against competitors and aftermarket industry trends to support strategic pricing decisions.\nPartner with Pricing Management and Category Management teams to evaluate pricing strategies, cost changes, market conditions, and growth opportunities.\nSupport value-based pricing initiatives, customer segmentation strategies, and product lifecycle pricing management.\nAnalyze customer profitability and purchasing behavior to support commercial negotiations and pricing recommendations.\nReporting & Performance Management\nCreate, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to monitor price realization, discounting behavior, margin trends, win/loss activity, and pricing compliance.\nProvide ongoing analysis and reporting to support pricing decisions, business reviews, and management reporting.\nProcess Improvement & Systems Support\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives across the pricing function.\nAssist in the implementation of pricing tools, analytical capabilities, and reporting enhancements.\nIdentify opportunities to automate pricing workflows, reporting, and data management processes.\nCreate and maintain pricing process documentation, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.\nPricing Execution & Administration\nUtilize Pricefx to create, maintain, and approve customer pricing while ensuring accurate integration and data flow between Pricefx and SAP S/4HANA.\nManage customer pricing, discounts, sales programs, promotions, exclusions, and special pricing agreements in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring alignment with approved Salesforce requests and business policies.\nPerform analysis and resolution of pricing discrepancies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.\nCollaborate with Sales to execute customer pricing initiatives, coordinate price changes, track implementation milestones, and ensure timely communication and execution.\nMaintain and update customer-facing pricing documentation, including price sheets, customer load files, and submissions to customer portals.\nWhat we’re looking for\nBachelor’s degree in data analytics, marketing, business, finance, or related field is preferred but industry experience may be considered in place of degree\n3+ years of pricing analysis, financial analysis, business analytics, sales operations, or related experience\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis, and reporting\nExperience with Pricefx, SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, Power BI, Microsoft Access\nStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously\nProcess-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement\nExcellent communication and presentation skills\nPreferred Experiences\nExperience in manufacturing, automotive aftermarket, automotive parts or related industries\nExperience working with different product categories, automotive applications, part numbers, and interchanges\nKnowledge of pricing strategy, discount structures, rebates, and margin analysis\nExperience conducting market price research, competitive benchmarking, and channel price analysis to support pricing decisions\nEQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY\nPHINIA is an equal employment opportunity employer such that all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.\nVISA SPONSORSHIP\nFor this role, applicants must be currently authorized to work on a full-time basis in the country where the position is based.
