The Production Planner is responsible for creating and maintaining production schedules, ensuring material availability, balancing production capacity, and supporting on-time delivery to customers. This role works closely with Production, Purchasing, Logistics, Customer Service, and Suppliers to ensure efficient production flow and optimal use of resources.\nThe successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating production activities, managing planning parameters within the ERP system, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to support operational excellence.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop, maintain, and communicate production plans and schedules.\nPerform capacity and workload planning to optimize production resources.\nMonitor customer demand and ensure production plans support delivery commitments.\nRelease and manage production orders in the ERP system.\nCoordinate material requirements and ensure timely availability of materials for production.\nMonitor inventory levels and perform material planning and follow-up activities.\nLiaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding production planning matters.\nCollaborate with Customer Service to support customer requirements and delivery performance.\nMaintain and optimize planning parameters within the ERP system.\nParticipate in production meetings, product launches, and change management activities.\nAnalyze production performance and identify potential risks to supply or delivery schedules.\nSupport and drive continuous improvement initiatives within production planning and supply chain processes.\nAssist other planning team members and provide planning support as required.\nWhat we’re looking for\nEssential\nExperience in production planning, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or a similar environment.\nStrong understanding of production scheduling, material planning, and inventory management.\nExperience working with ERP/MRP systems.\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.\nEffective communication and stakeholder management skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.\nFluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.\nDesirable\nDegree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.\nExperience in a high-volume manufacturing environment. \nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies. \nExperience with capacity planning and demand forecasting. \nFamiliarity with SAP, Oracle, IFS, or other ERP systems. \nExperience working in cross-functional international teams. \nSAFETY\nYou will consistently hear us say Safety First!
