Read More\nJOB PURPOSE\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nThe Supplier Order Management Planner is a key strategic role responsible for ensuring an uninterrupted flow of materials to support manufacturing operations through flawless execution of the supplier ordering process. This position requires an autonomous, highly analytical professional with deep SAP expertise to balance inventory levels, optimize cash flow, and manage relationship metrics with global suppliers.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nPlan, schedule, and release purchase orders for production materials, ensuring appropriate lead times to maximize plant operating efficiency.\nAnalyze daily inventory availability (Days of Supply) to meet production schedules, maximize cash flow, and increase inventory turnover.\nProactively monitor the supply chain to eliminate manufacturing downtime and eradicate extra expenses from premium freights.\nPartner closely with the supplier base to anticipate bottlenecks, prevent delivery disruptions, and manage recovery plans.\nActively participate in engineering change management to smoothly phase components in and out, eliminating financial exposure from obsolete inventory.\nOwn and report operational metrics including OTIF (On-Time In-Full), inventory target variations, and transit costs.\n\nRequirements & Qualifications\nEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.\n Experience: 3 to 5+ years of proven experience in Material Planning, Production Control, or Supplier Order Management within a fast-paced manufacturing environment (Automotive preferred).\n Bilingual (English & Spanish).
