Reporting to the BIPS Program Director, the Coordinator organizes youth-focused activities and workshops, facilitates psychoeducational groups and support activities, coordinates monthly Family Nights, plans recreational and educational trips, and assists with planning community service events.\nResponsibilities:\nPlan and coordinate on-site programming that meets the needs of at-risk youth ages 10-19 using a person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach.\nDevelop curricula, evaluate educational consultants, and monitor group activities to support program quality and youth engagement.\nOrganize activities and workshops on topics relevant to program participants.\nProvide individual support sessions and facilitate psychoeducational groups and other support activities.\nPlan and coordinate monthly Family Nights and recreational and educational trips.\nCollaborate with program staff and educational consultants to deliver activities, coordinate guest speakers, and assist with community service events.\nBuild and maintain relationships with community organizations throughout Philadelphia to connect youth and families with appropriate resources.\nParticipate in staff meetings, trainings, community events, and other meetings as assigned.\nMaintain accurate, timely group and attendance records and enter progress notes in the CBPS database.\nComplete required program reports and other documentation.\nPerform additional administrative duties assigned by the Program Director to support program operations and growth.\nWork Abilities:\nAt least four years of experience working with at-risk youth.\nExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with youth, families, colleagues, and community partners.\nKnowledge of adolescent development, family systems, substance use, trauma, and mental health challenges.\nKnowledge of effective strategies for engaging and supporting at-risk youth, including those involved in the juvenile justice system.\nAbility to apply strengths-based, recovery-oriented, and trauma-informed approaches to youth programming.\nFamiliarity with youth mentoring practices and issues affecting youth engagement and development.\nKnowledge of community resources, including social services and recreational opportunities for youth and families.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nCultural responsiveness and sensitivity to racial, cultural, and socioeconomic differences, with the ability to adapt activities and interventions to meet diverse needs.\nWork Environment and Location:\nPrimary Location: 4601 Market St., Philadelphia, PA 19139.\nWork Schedule: Monday to Friday from10:00 a.m.-6:30 p.m., supporting an after-school program serving youth.\nQualifications:\nMaster’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related human services field required.\nAt least four years of experience working with at-risk youth is
