Home | PHOENIX group\nThe heart of the role\nAs an Accounts Payable Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant invoice and payment processing within the PHOENIX Group. You’ll work closely with both local and international finance teams, contributing to efficient operations and continuous process improvements. Your primary responsibilities will be:\nProcess supplier invoices from receipt to payment release.\nHandle internal and external communication with vendors and stakeholders.\nMaintain vendor master data and support month-end closing activities.\nIdentify and proactively resolve discrepancies related to stock, product prices, or invoices.\nEnsure compliance with PHOENIX Group accounting policies, procedures, and local regulations.\nMonitor and meet service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).\nSupport the continuous improvement of Accounts Payable processes and documentation.\nAssist in implementing initiatives to enhance efficiency and automation.\nPerform bank reconciliations and cash allocation tasks.\nSupport and collaborate with team members to ensure quality and performance standards are met.\nWhat makes you beat\nDegree in Economics, Business Administration, or Accounting.\nAround 1-2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in Accounts Payable or shared service environments.\nExperience working in a complex, international organization is an advantage.\nSolid understanding of Finance and Accounting end-to-end processes.\nEnglish communication skills (both written and spoken).\nDetail-oriented, analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.\nEagerness to learn, collaborate, and grow in an international
