After the 90 Day review and successful completion of training there will be a $1.00 pay increase.\nFunctions\nSet-up machine to run production order using defined tools and fixtures, verification of program, and documentation review (drawings, job packet, router, etc.)\nRun machine to complete production order within the required standard times\nMeasure and inspect completed parts to customer requirements and department standards\nPrepare finished product for next production operation or shipment as needed including washing, wrapping, packaging, etc.\nComply with all health and safety requirements based on each operation\nComplete all required production paperwork in a timely and accurate manner. This includes using a scanner and computer to log time and completed parts\nParticipate in and support improvement projects within production environment\nAssist in other cells as required, i.e., assembly, surface treatment, etc.\nMaintain tooling area in appropriate manner\nMaintain a clean working area\nRequirements\nSkill Requirements\nAbility to complete assigned functions in a time sensitive/variable environment (low volume/high variability)\nAbility to interact with others both verbally and in writing to meet the position objective\nAbility to apply common sense and logic in the resolution of problems\nKnowledge of standard manufacturing processes to complete assigned tasks\nAbility to communicate with others ensuring the comprehension of the other party\nAbility to read and interpret drawings, reports, other documentation to meet position objectives, i.e., blueprints, bill of materials, routers, etc.\nAbility to make adjustment and modifications to G and M code to complete job order (we will train)\nAbility to determine the tools and accessories needed to complete job order\nKnowledge of material differences and ability to apply when completing job order\nKnowledge of various manual and CNC machines and ability to operate all efficiently with minimal downtime\nKnowledge of and ability to use standard measurement equipment to complete essential functions\nAbility to apply intermediate math skill and knowledge of metric and standard conversions\nAbility to operate with competing demands ensuring customer satisfaction (internal and external)\nKnowledge of and ability to use established technology including hardware and software (computers, tablets, ERP/MRP software, MS Office products)\nAbility to provide and accept feedback from peers and management in a professional manner\nEducational Requirements\nAbility to pass Phoenix Mecano’s knowledge assessments\nUnderstanding of high school level reading, writing, and basic math\nPhysical Requirements\nRoutinely required to use a hands, fingers, and arms in repetitive motions\nRegularly required to stand, walk, bend throughout a work shift.\nRegularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds | Occasionally required to lift up to 40 pounds\nConsistently required to use hand or light power tools | Occasionally required to use X-Acto knives or razor blades.\nRegularly required to move (push and pull) racks and pallets of product around production floor (up to 100 feet at a time)\nRegularly and consistently required to use or be exposed to adhesives, lubricants, solvents, cleansers, etc.\nCommon PPE is safety shoes and glasses.
