SUMMARY: Luxury Hospitality Collection based in and around Franschhoek is looking for a meticulous Stock Controller to oversee stock management, procurement compliance and inventory accuracy. Staff transport available from Franschhoek, Paarl and Stellenbosch. POSITION INFO: Duties: Oversee daily stock control and maintain inventory levels appropriate to hotel occupancy and operational requirements. Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and inventory policies. Conduct stocktakes, audits and reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and minimising shrinkage. Maintain accurate records and financial reports on stock values and movements. Support the Procurement team with current documentation and assigned projects. Train and supervise Storemen and Stock Administrators in correct packing, picking and stock transportation procedures. Maintain approved stock levels and support inventory cost-reduction targets. Arrange credit notes for incorrect or substandard stock received. Check invoice prices against contracted or quoted prices. Report damage to stock, equipment or facilities promptly.
